Request for Offers for Utility-Scale Energy Storage Tolling Agreements

Hatch Renewables and Equilibrium Energy Release 500 MW Request for Offers (RFO) for Utility-Scale Energy Storage Tolling Agreements in ERCOT

Hatch Renewables (“Hatch”) and Equilibrium Energy (“Equilibrium”) are pleased to announce the release of a Request for Offers (RFO) for utility-scale energy storage tolling agreements in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) market. This RFO marks a significant milestone in the partnership’s ongoing commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions.

This initiative builds upon the previously announced partnership between Hatch and Equilibrium, and the announcement earlier this summer that Hatch and Equilibrium signed the largest energy storage tolling agreement to date in Texas with Jupiter Power. The RFO seeks to procure up to 500 megawatts (MW) of energy storage assets, with online dates anticipated before the close of 2024.

Hatch and Equilibrium are enthusiastic about the opportunity to collaborate with potential partners and stakeholders to continue enhancing the grid's reliability and resilience in ERCOT.

By expanding our energy storage portfolio, we aim to contribute to a more sustainable and efficient energy future for the region.Interested parties with qualifying assets are invited to participate in this RFO process, following the execution of an NDA, by reaching out to tolling@equilibriumenergy.com.
